Youth Saving Incentives

The importance of saving for the future is a core concept of the Center’s financial education programs. We focus on helping youth participants develop a savings-centered mindset.

Savings Accounts

All CFE youth participants are offered free savings accounts through our credit union partners. When possible, youth participants are also offered incentives to further encourage them to establish a habit of saving for the future. Incentives may include “starter” (seed) deposits or matched funds. Incentives vary based on funding available.
